Bergen County Department of Mental Health Database: Records information on mental health clients for the purpose of making housing recommendations within the county. Developed in ASP.NET and hosted on a Microsoft Internet Information Server.

Student Profile and Assessment Record (SPAR): SPAR is a web-based system for recording, tracking, analyzing and reporting student’s educational activities through the life of his/her degree program. The system gathers evaluations of the program being offered to determine if the University meets its goals and can therefore support its continuing accreditation. The system is hosted on an NT Server running Internet Information Server (IIS) using ASP and COM objects.

webNetwork: An application that serves as a data repository for organizations that wish to provide a knowledge base of skills, opportunities and problems shared within any defined online community. Developed in ASP and ASP.NET and hosted on a Microsoft Internet Information Server.

Customer Software Product Development and Technical Support

Divorce Settlement Assistant (DSA): A product offered by American Laws Ware, Inc. to assist lawyers and judges resolve conflicts over alimony, property settlement and child support in family law matters. The product is written in Visual Basic.

VisualEnzymics: A product offered by SoftZymics for statistical analysis and documentation of enzyme kinetics data. The system is written to run within the IGOR Pro environment offered by WaveMetrics, Inc.

Environmental and Safety Monitoring

Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR): A New Jersey state-approved proprietary software project developed in FoxPro. Chemical and utility companies throughout the state use the system to produce EPA-mandated reports.

Permit Tracking System (PTS): A system that organizes and calendarizes the tasks needed to obtain environmental permits and to keep them going.

Laboratory Testing System (LTS): For a particular laboratory, the list of tasks for the day. This system is particularly useful for labs that are required to produce monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports.

Financial and Economic Analysis

Budget Entry and Reporting System: Budget Entry and Reporting System ia a mainframe system used by a Board of Education for budgeting tasks.

Daylight Overdraft System: The Daylight Overdraft System is used to determine the amount of and duration of any overdraft that may occur in a client account during the workday. The system is required to analyze approximately 10 million transactions per day. The system uses Microsoft VisualFoxPro for running on Windows workstations with shared data on a Novel server.

Energy Billing System: The Energy Billing System does multi-commodity, commercial, industrial and residential invoicing determined by customer contract and rider specification. The system includes usage, capacity and service billing methods based on metered data. The system uses Microsoft Visual FoxPro as a front end and SQL Server as a back end.

Health and Beauty Aids Inventory and Accounting System: The Inventory and Accounting System tracks all transactions for a multi-corporation, multi-store health and beauty aids business using the retail method of accounting. The system was developed in Prime Information on a Prime minicomputer.

Job Costing for Fabrication: Job Costing for Fabrication is a pricing-history system developed for a manufacturer of custom machined parts.

Market Monitor (MM): Market Monitor is an on line client-server application written in Visual Basic 4.0 that plots the current market price of electricity versus the cost of any generating unit. A profit and loss statement is calculated every hour.

Project Economic Evaluation Model (PEEM): PEEM is used to do economic evaluation of a capital projects. The system uses standard corporate values and calculation methods to provide an objective and equal analysis of all projects. The system is designed to be easily used by project designers so the impact of design alternatives can be considered prior to making a funding recommendation. Standard reports verify all calculations and proved management with a standard set of evaluation parameters as well as full documentation for capital decision making. The system is used in several organizations in configurations tailored to the needs of the organization.

RepoManager: RepoManager is used to track and analyze the purchase, aggregation and resale of repurchase agreements. The system is developed in Power Builder and uses the Watcom database.

Portfolio Pricing System: The Portfolio pricing system is used to price the services required to maintain and trade large international investment portfolios based upon a specified return on the expected fixed and variable costs of the target portfolio. The system is developed in Microsoft FoxPro.

Business Process and Tracking

Admissions Matching Program: Admissions Matching Program is a system developed in Visual FoxPro that enables a law school to match applicants with advisers based on common areas of interest.

Client Examination Tracking System: The Client Examination Tracking System tracks eye exams performed in support of the initiative to provide services and screening for diabetic patients. The system was rewritten in Visual FoxPro running on an NT Server.

Contract Administration and Expense Reimbursement System: The Contract Administration and Expense Reimbursement System tracks contracts, modifications, budgets, and expenses reported by agencies contracted to provide services to state agencies. The system allows for the claim of reimbursement from federal funds for covered services. The system is designed in Power Builder and maintains an Oracle database.

Consumer Panelist Database: This system is developed in Microsoft Access for a large personal products corporation to expedite the assembling of test panels.

Agency Contact Tracking System (ACT): ACT is a client/server application, written in Visual Basic 3.0 and Oracle, which allows users to compose and send Banyan E-mail messages from within the VB application while saving key information in an Oracle database.

Billing: Billing is a complex billing system for a utility company. It is a FoxPro to Microsoft Access conversion.

Grants Administration and Tracking System (GATS): GATS is used to track the grants process of organizations that provide funding based on both a need and worthiness evaluation basis. It was designed for use by New Jersey State Council on the Arts after they had determined that their data requirements exceeded the systems currently available. The system is written in Visual FoxPro, comprised of seven modules, and runs on Windows Workstations and either a Novell or NT Server.

Attendance: Attendance is a system developed for a Board of Education to track employee absences. It is a Henco INFO to Microsoft Access conversion.

Timesheet Entry Report Management System (TERMS): TERMS is a system developed for a large engineering firm that allows distributed data entry by engineers of their timesheets. The system has a PRIME back end and a FoxPro front end.

Point Of Presence Web Data Conversion System: The Point of Presence Web Data Conversion System converts data stored at an FTP site maintained by a telecommunications network provider for use by system providers who need to track system utilization and performance. The system is written in Microsoft Visual FoxPro running on Windows NT Workstation.

Performance and Facility Management

Supplier Performance Measurement System: Supplier Performance Measurement System is developed in Microsoft Access for a large pharmaceutical company to certify and rank vendors.

Space Planning - Cable Management: Space Planning - Cable Management is a system developed in Microsoft Access that prints out work orders for the moving of employees and their phone lines.

Request Routing and Control System: The Web front end for the Space Planning - Cable Management System (see above). It captures the information for moving employees and their phone lines and puts it into a database. The system determines which departments need to get involved and in what order. Microsoft Access, Active Server Pages.

CB Monitoring System: The CB Monitoring System monitors and reports alarms from conversion boxes powering fiber-optic telecommunication equipment. The system does real-time monitoring of asynchronous communication lines and displays alarms at emergency repair dispatch stations. The system was programmed in Visual Basic running on a Windows NT Server.

College Yearbook System: College Yearbook System is used by a Board of Education to track, for all students, colleges applied to, accepted or not, grade point average, and SAT scores.

Remote Entry of Work Orders (REWO): REWO is a system that keeps track of work orders for a large maintenance crew.

School Building Use Fund: Developed for a large school system, School Building Use Fund is an application that allows for the reservation and allocation of facilities.

Student Test Score Analysis: Student Test Score Analysis is a system that allows a large Board of Education to track student test scores.

Human Resources

Blood Donation System: The Blood Donation System is used to establish donation sites and appointment schedules, solicit employee blood donations, schedule appointments and record donations. Reporting allows for solicitation responsibility to be delegated through the organization. A module permits the incorporation of donation information recorded by the Greater New York Blood Program for donations occurring at non-corporate sites. The system was originally programmed in Henco Info on a Prime minicomputer, ported to a DEC minicomputer, rewritten for Microsoft FoxPro for Windows running on Windows workstations and upgraded to Microsoft Visual FoxPro on NT Workstation with shared data on a Novel 4.0 server.

Difference Incentive System: The Difference Incentive System is used to calculate and plan incentive compensation for employees in the program. The system allows for the distribution and collection of data down and back up the organization. The system was programmed in Microsoft FoxPro for Windows.

Management Resource Inventory: The Management Resource Inventory System is used to record performance enter and report performance evaluations for officers of the corporation. Both direct and indirect reporting relationships are recognized. The system allows for the distribution and collection of data down and back up the organization. The system was programmed in Microsoft FoxPro for Windows.

Membership Database System: The Member Data System is used to provide organization membership information to section and sub-section managers responsible for activities within their sub-organizations. Emphasis is placed on ease of use and the ability to perform regular organizational functions including mailings and status review. The system was developed in both DOS and Windows versions of Microsoft FoxPro.

State Employee Payroll System: The State Employee Payroll System is used to track and report on leave use and availability for multiple employee types. The system is based on exception entry where the standard work week for each employee type is previously designated.

Quarter Century Club: The Blood Quarter Century Club System is used to manage entrance and participation in an organization that an employee is eligible to join after twenty-five years of service. The system permits for the selection of recognition gifts for participants, the inventory of gifts and an interface to perform inter-departmental charging for the gifts. The system was originally programmed in Henco Info on a Prime minicomputer, ported to a DEC minicomputer, rewritten for Microsoft FoxPro for Windows running on Windows workstations and upgraded to Microsoft Visual FoxPro on NT Workstation with shared data on a Novel 4.0 server.

Unusual Incident Reporting System: The UIR system is used by the largest department in state government to report, track and analyze unusual incidents (assaults, fires, accident, runaways, etc.) at contracted or state run institutions and offices. The system is designed in Power Builder and maintains an Oracle database.

System Analysis and Design

Analysis and design services are often required where an organization wishes to embark on a reengineering of its information systems. Implementation can then occur in selected areas, and although the implementation may be isolated, the partial implementation will contribute to a unified goal.

New Jersey Division of the Developmentally Disabled: This design project centered on determining the database structures needed to meet the client service and tracking needs of the State’s largest department. Project challenges included determining the relationship of business processes that were performed at isolated locations throughout the state, using incompatible systems and inconsistent terminology. The design was targeted toward an Oracle implementation with client/server access form all department sites and offices.

System Support

Support services are required by organizations when their full-time staff is unavailable to meet business needs that can’t be easily addressed without specialized technical resources.

Miscellaneous Accounting System Support and Modification: As a former reseller of SBT accounting systems, and Microsoft FoxPro skilled developers, we support several organizations using various versions of these systems. We provide user support as well as source code modifications to meet particular business needs.

The system is based on exception entry where the standard workweek for each employee type is previously designated. The system was upgraded to Microsoft Visual FoxPro from FoxPro for DOS.
